Dennis attended the 22nd Annual Will Rogers Awards ceremony on March 15th, 2018 in Fort Worth. Dennis won the award for Western Song of the Year for his song 'A Cowboy Tune' from his album 'Western & Country'. This album was produced by Lloyd Maines and engineered by Pat Manske at The Zone in Dripping Springs. Terri Hendrix lent her talents on harmonica for 'A Cowboy Tune'.
